Fuselage:
I. Install a louvered vent into the modified inspection plate and crimp the vent tabs on the backside to hold the vent in place. Position the vent openings to point to rear of aircraft in the inspection plate before crimping. This unit then becomes the fuselage vent.
II. Remove an Inspection Cover Plate or Inspection Access Door on the aft fuselage,
A. Round Inspection Cover/plate/door:
1. Install the fuselage vent into the fuselage Cover/plate/door with the three screws previously removed. Positioning the louver openings to the rear of aircraft.
B. Rectangular Cover/plate/door:
1. Cut a 4" diameter round hole in the Cover/plate/door for the louvered vent.
2. Install the louvered vent by:
a. Installing the fuselage vent (louvered vent and modified inspection plate) and use three screws to attach the fuselage vent to the cover/plate/door. Positioning the louver openings to the rear of aircraftb. Install the louvered vent directly to the Cover/plate/door by positioning the louvers and crimping the vent tabs on the backside of the Cover/plate/door. Recommend using at least one small screw to hold the vent in position.
Cabin:
I. In the cabin, remove the rear baggage panel (or shelf) where the cabin vents will be installed. Vent has to be in area with access to aft fuselage.
II. Cut two round 4" diameter opening s in the rear baggage panel (shelf) to install the cabin vents.
III. Install the cabin vents into the baggage panel (shelf) by crimping the tabs on the backside of the vent. You may desire to use one screw to hold the vent in the position you have selected.
IV. Reinstall the baggage panel (shelf)
